There are two main fibrous raw materials used in papermaking in Atrak pulp and paper industrial company. These are wood pulp (chemical) and recovered paper. In addition, a quantity of additives (mainly natural mineral fillers) and dyestuffs are used together with traces of auxiliary chemicals depending on product quality. A further raw material is water, which is used during the papermaking process but is then recovered and reused .

The Bleached Hard wood is used in top layer and recycled dispersed fiber is used in remaining 6 layers for Coated duplex board manufacture. The recycled pulp is made from Old news paper, Mixed waste paper, Duplex cuttings, Office records, Old corrugated cuttings, kraft wrapper, etc…

Box Board Cuttings :

Consists of baled new cuttings of paperboard used in the manufacture of folding paper cartons, set-up boxes and similar boxboard products.

Magazines :


Consists of baled coated magazines, catalogues and other similar printed materials. May contain a small percentage of uncoated news type paper.

Mixed waste :


OCC:


Old corrugated containers (OCC) : used cardboard boxes and Old Carton paper -Old newspapers (ONP) :Printed newspapers and other uncoated ground wood-based papers, such as advertising leaflets, election manuals, etc. There are four grades of ONP -Sorted office paper : A selective mixture of papers typically generated in offices, comprised primarily of white ledger but including colored ledger, carbonless forms, envelopes, and coated paper -Old magazines (OMG) :Coated publications (including catalogs), typically printed on ground wood paper -Mixed paper : An extremely broad mixture of papers, with few unacceptable grades. Includes virtually all types of paper generated in offices, and a large percentage of papers generated in homes. Unacceptable paper types typically include plastic-coated papers, such as frozen food packages, and paper towels/tissue.


ONP/OINP:

A newspaper is a publication containing news, information, and advertising. General-interest newspapers often feature articles on political events, crime, business, art/entertainment, society and sports. Most traditional papers also feature an editorial page containing columns that express the personal opinions of writers. Supplementary sections may contain advertising, comics, and coupons.

Bleached Hard Wood :


Pulp is a dry fibrous material prepared by chemically separating fibers from wood or fiber crops.
